These five pillows were Christmas presents for my great-neices,
Belle, Emily, Kayla, Kyndal and Mollie. The butterfly design is from OESD. I used a lightweight cotton for
the cover and did the names with Embird. See instructions
below. It is an easy way to do a removable cover for a pillow. |

Step 1: Cut back cover one inch larger than
your pillow form. Cut the front cover 5-6 inches longer than the
back. Finish the top edge and turn the extra length down right sides
together. Be sure the front piece is the same size as the back piece
once it is turned down. |

Step 2: Stitch front and back together on
the sides and bottom. Leave the top (folded edge) open. |

Step 3: Insert pillow form |

Step 4: Turn the extra length on the front
over to the back, and you have a nicely finished pillow. It is easy
to remove if the pillow cover needs washing. I did not use buttons
and any type of closure since these pillows are for children. |
